CASJ Feast of St. Joseph Giving Days from March 19th through Easter, March 31st

A dream inspired St. Joseph to brave uncertainty and take up his vocation as a holy spouse. His response to this dream transformed the humble carpenter into the Pillar of Families and the Protector of the Holy Church.

On this feast of St. Joseph, the Chesterton Academy of St. James renews its commitment to the dream and task of forming the next generation of pillars, the stalwart followers of Jesus Christ.

The Chesterton Academy of St. James opened in the Fall of 2022. Since then, we’ve doubled our student population. Our students have read hundreds of pages from the Great Books.  They’ve participated in over 250 masses. They’ve served in liturgies and soup kitchens, packed hygiene kits for the homeless, and unpacked the mysteries of geometric proofs. They’ve learned to draw figures and still life, and are learning not to draw unsupported conclusions. They’ve sung for Vespers at St. Patrick’s Seminary, and vested for sung liturgies. They’ve hiked Bay Area forests and walked for life in San Francisco. They’ve fasted and feasted, discussed and debated, and laughed through it all.

This faithful, joyfully Catholic classical education is made possible by your prayers and support.

Join us in furthering the mission to form the next generation of saints.  Help us raise $200,000 in support of faithful Catholic education.

Please consider a monthly or one-time gift:

$500 provides a year’s worth of Great Books.

$10,000 covers a semester’s worth of faithful and fruitful Catholic education.

$20,500 provides a student with a full year’s experience of a joyfully Catholic, classical education, rich in content, in wonder, and in the sacraments.

A gift of any size is much appreciated. A donor has pledged a dollar-to-dollar match up to $50,000 for all gifts given by March 26th.

Double your impact with a gift by March 26th.

Join us. Like St Joseph, let us dream and respond to God’s call!

With much gratitude for your prayers and support,

The Chesterton Academy of St. James
